Akhil Akkineni knew Agent would fail

Akhil Akkineni admitted on Raw Talks with VK podcast that he knew his film Agent would flop before its release.

He said he didn't respect himself as an actor while filming Agent, noting the film had issues in edit and scenes.

Akhil felt a moral responsibility to recover the producer's money despite knowing the film would fail.

Agent, directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi, earned less than ₹15 crore worldwide after a high-budget release.

Akhil's subsequent film Lenin, written and directed by Mura, was a success and marked his return after a three-year break.
