Mumbai Rains: Long-Distance Trains Cancelled, Short-Terminated On Western Railway After Bank Slip On

A bank slip between Udvada and Pardi on Western Railway's Vapi-Udvada section disrupted long-distance train services due to heavy rainfall.
All down-direction trains were regulated, causing delays and cancellations, including the 69153 Umbergaon Road-Valsad passenger train.
Several trains were short-terminated or reversed, such as the Ahmedabad-Bandra Terminus (12934) terminated at Valsad and returned as 12933, and the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central (12932) terminated at Navsari.
Suburban services in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including Western Railway's Churchgate-Dahanu Road and Central Railway's main lines, remained largely operational with minor delays.
Passengers were advised to check train status via the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or Indian Railways portal before traveling.
