Karnataka man arrested for killing wife over suspected affair, filming, sharing videos of her final moments

Praveen Ashok Jigalur, 29, was arrested in Bagalkot, Karnataka for allegedly killing his wife Bhagyashree Jigalur.

He reportedly recorded a video of her hanging and shared it with her family and others.

Bhagyashree was found dead at their home in Galagali village on Monday evening; blood injuries and an iron rod-like object were recovered.

Police registered a murder case based on a complaint from Bhagyashree's father; Superintendent of Police Siddharth Goyal confirmed the video recovery.

The couple married in 2020 and have a three-year-old son; frequent disputes arose over Praveen's suspicion of an extramarital affair.
