Mangaluru City Crime Branch uncovered a drug network involving an ambulance driver from Belthangady.
The accused, Jalil Baba, allegedly used his private ambulance to supply drugs to students.
Jalil Baba is absconding after the network was exposed, and police have launched a search.
On June 25, CCB arrested Annappa Swamy and seized 15.17 grams of MDMA worth ₹1.50 lakh, leading to the wider investigation.
On July 15, CCB arrested Mohammad Altaf and Mohammad Mustafa, seizing 5 kg of MDMA worth ₹5.5 crore.
